Australian History & Expansion

• Origins (1986): Founded as Clutchco Pty Ltd in Australia by Barry Davis, Ken Davis, Peter Marsh, and John Ede (former Repco/PBR veterans).
• Growth Milestones:
  • 1992: Established Clutchline Pty Ltd in western Sydney to serve NSW and Queensland.
  • 1995: Partnered with EXEDY Corporation (formerly Daikin Manufacturing Co Ltd) to fund expansion, forming Daikin Clutch Australia.
  • 2000: Officially changed the local entity name to EXEDY Australia Pty Ltd.
